Trotzdem gibt es einige Videos bei youtube in denen die Mandoline von t\u00fcrkischen Musikern gespielt wird. Vor einiger Zeit wurde ich auf die Videos mit <strong>Kerim &amp; Selim Altinok<\/strong> aufmerksam gemacht. Als ich begann mich intensiver mit diesen Videos zu befassen und weitere Informationen zu diesen Musikern zu suchen fand ich heraus dass beide blind sind. Schon mit 4 Jahren begann ihre Sehf\u00e4higkeit abzunehmen, mit 18 waren beide total blind.<\/p>\n<p>Trotz dieser Behinderung haben beide Studien absolviert, ihre eigene Firma gegr\u00fcndet und eine erfolgreiche Musikerkarriere aufgebaut. Ausserdem sind sie ausgezeichnete Schachspieler die die T\u00fcrkei schon bei internationalen Turnieren vertreten haben.<\/p>\n<p>Zwischen 1940 und 1954 gab es in der T\u00fcrkei die Dorfinstitute (<i>K\u00f6y Enstit\u00fcleri<\/i>, siehe <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dorfinstitute\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wikipedia<\/a>), Bildungsseinrichtungen f\u00fcr Jungen und M\u00e4dchen in l\u00e4ndlichen Gebieten. Dort wurde auch Volksmusik unterrichtet, viele Bilder zeigen Musikgruppen mit Mandolinen. Vor l\u00e4ngerer Zeit habe ich eine Abbildung einer t\u00fcrkischen Ausgabe der Mandolinenschule von Cristofaro im Internet gesehen &#8211; leider habe ich das Bild nicht gespeichert. Es gibt aber auf jeden Fall Mandolinenschulen in t\u00fcrkischer Sprache, eine davon ist auch auf der Website von Kerim und Selim Altinok abgebildet. Die Titelseite dieser Mandolinenschule ist oben als Beitragsbild zu sehen.<\/p>\n<p>Wenn ich den Text von der Website richtig verstehe bedauert es Selim, der Mandolinenspieler, dass die Mandoline heute in der T\u00fcrkei keinen Stellenwert mehr hat und dass die Mandolinenschule auch nur sehr schwer zu bekommen ist. They partially lost their sight at the age of four and totally lost it a few days before their 18th birthday. Although they had to overcome difficulties fully sighted people would not have to, they have never stopped fighting.<\/p>\n<p>They finished primary school, and at university, they graduated with honors from the Istanbul University Faculty of Law. They specialized in financial law. The brothers have also represented Turkey in the field of chess and Selim has drawn with world chess champion Anatoly Karpov.<\/p>\n<p><b>Career and art<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Alt\u0131nok brothers got involved in art while they were building their careers. They started playing various instruments at an early age and decided to become professional musicians. They passed the exams at the Istanbul State Conservatory.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the Bak\u0131rk\u00f6y Association for the Blind, the brothers formed a choir named G\u00f6zder, composed entirely of blind members, in 1991.
