Dieses Mal wird eine Gruppe mit dem netten Namen <strong>Lake of Stew<\/strong> &#8211; See voll Gulasch &#8211; vorgestellt. Die sechs Musiker stammen aus Montreal und spielen eine Mischung aus <strong>Bluegrass, Oldtime, Blues und Folk<\/strong> &#8211; durchweg eigene Kompositionen.<\/p>\n<p>Einige der St\u00fccke h\u00f6ren sich sehr folkig an, vielleicht liegt das an den verwendeten Instrumenten, nicht nur Gitarre, Fiddle, Mandoline sondern auch ein Akkordeon, ein Mandolinenbanjo, ein Dobro, ein Waschzuber-Bass und die Mundharmomonika werden verwendet.<\/p>\n<p>Manche St\u00fccke erinnern an bekannte Volks- und Kinder-Lieder, fast m\u00f6chte man mitsingen.<\/p>\n<p>Auf der Homepage von <strong>Lake of Stew<\/strong> findet man die folgende Beschreibung \u00fcber die Musik der Band:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>They sing all original, new songs, featuring great big vocal harmonies. Lots of people call their sound old-timey, but it ain&#8217;t, it&#8217;s new-timey, though it does recall a lot of old traditions all blended together. If you need a name to put to their sound, you wouldn&#8217;t go wrong with &#8222;good-timey&#8220;.
