Es war schon auf meiner allerersten Bluegrass Compilation &#8222;Compact-Kassette&#8220; enthalten, die ich Anfang der 80er Jahre bekam. Die Tabulatur f\u00fcr das St\u00fcck ist auch im Heft &#8222;Bluegrass Masters: Jesse McReynolds Mandolin&#8220; enthalten. In diesem Heft wird aber auch sehr ausf\u00fchrlich die <strong>Crosspicking Technik<\/strong>, f\u00fcr die Jesse bekannt ist, behandelt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Washington County<\/strong> ist wohl &#8211; wie ich jetzt herausgefunden habe &#8211; eine Melodie von Kenny Baker, dem Fiddler bei den Bluegrass Boys von Bill Monroe. Ich habe das St\u00fcck vor einigen Jahren durch eine Aufnahme der <strong>Williams &amp; Clark Expedition<\/strong> kennen gelernt und habe es damals gleich von dieser Aufnahme herausgeh\u00f6rt und
