August statt. Die Konzerte des Festivals der letzten Jahre wurden gefilmt und sind in voller L\u00e4nge und ausgezeichneter Qualit\u00e4t bei youtube zu sehen.<\/p>\n<p>Ich habe mir in den letzten Tagen zwei Konzerte von Shrewsbury Folk Festival 2017 angesehen die ich gerne weiterempfehlen m\u00f6chte.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sarah Jarosz<\/strong> spielte mit ihrem Trio, dabei spielte sie ihre Oktavmandoline (Mandola), Gitarre, Banjo und Mandoline. Das Programm enth\u00e4lt einige Songs ihres letzten Albums &#8222;Undercurrent&#8220;. Dieses Album wurde im letzten Jahr mit zwei Grammys ausgezeichnet.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Von der Website:<\/p>\n<p>With her fourth album,\u00a0<em>Undercurrent<\/em>, Sarah Jarosz makes a studied departure from her previous records, shifting the emphasis from her skills as a multi-instrumentalist to her songwriting and vocal performance.\u00a0<em>Undercurrent\u00a0<\/em>accentuates the growth and maturity that Jarosz, now 25, has achieved since graduating from New England Conservatory and moving to New York City. Im Vordergrund der Band steht Gudrun Walther mit ihre Violine, wirkungsvoll unterst\u00fctzt durch die\u00a0Uilleann Pipes von Hendrik Morgenbrodt. Weitere Bandmitglieder sind Kim Edgar aus Edinburgh (Piano, Stimme), J\u00fcrgen Treyz (Gitarre) und Rolf Wagels der als einer der besten Bodhran Spieler gilt.
