Er studierte Mandoline und Gitarre am Konservatorium f\u00fcr Musik und Tanz in Argenteuil bei Mario Monti und in der Meisterklasse von Alberto Ponce.<\/p>\n<p>Florentino Calvo hat sich sehr mit der zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Musik f\u00fcr Mandoline besch\u00e4ftigt. Insbesondere mit dem Trio Polycordes (Mandoline, Harfe und Gitarre) hat er viele Zeitgen\u00f6ssische Werke aufgef\u00fchrt und aufgenommen.<\/p>\n<p>Aber auch die klassische und romantische Musik f\u00fcr Mandoline &#8211; Beethoven, Leone, Calace &#8211; spielt er gerne.
