Im Januar 2019 war hier ein Interview mit der jungen Mandolinistin und Komponistin Ashley Broder zu lesen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ashley war im vergangenen Jahr in der Video-Reihe &#8222;Mandolin Mondays&#8220; von David Benedict mit ihrem St\u00fcck &#8222;The Race&#8220; zu sehen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"ast-oembed-container \" style=\"height: 100%;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mandolin Mondays Featuring Ashley Broder \/\/\/ &quot;The Race&quot;\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2TEuKongBY0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In den letzten Jahren hat sie in verschiedenen Gruppen gespielt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Als Duo <strong>Sam &#8217;n Ash<\/strong> spielt Ashley mit der Akkordeonistin <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Samantha Harvey (\u00f6ffnet in neuem Tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.samanthaharvey.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Samantha Harvey<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Auf ihrer CD T<strong>wo Trees<\/strong> ist sie mit Ben Schreiber (Violine) und Aria dieSalvio (Violoncello) zu h\u00f6ren. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mit der Gruppe <strong>Syncopaths <\/strong>spielt Ashley seit vielen Jahren bei Contra Dance Veranstaltungen, die Gruppe spielt aber auch reine Konzerte. Die Band hat 2005 und 2010 CDs ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Auf der <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Website  (\u00f6ffnet in neuem Tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.syncopaths.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Website<\/a> findet man folgenden Text \u00fcber die Band:  <br><em>&#8222;From dance floors to concert halls, the Syncopaths bring a fresh, contemporary spin to music and songs rooted in the Scottish, Irish, and American folk traditions. Evolving beyond their contra dance origins, they are creating a &#8222;chamber folk&#8220; sound characterized by the compelling, rhythmic interplay of fiddle and mandolin, rich vocals, and unexpected colors and rhythms from the piano and bodhr\u00e1n. The exuberant joy they derive from the music and each other is palpable and contagious.<\/em> &#8222;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Spieler der Band haben wohl \u00f6fters gewechselt, Ashley spielt aber schon seit l\u00e4ngerer Zeit die Mandoline.
