Wieder ein neues interessantes Konzert bei den CBC concerts on demand – Joey Wright<\/strong> spielt Gitarre, Mandoline und singt. Es lohnt sich das Konzert anzuh\u00f6ren, besonders das letzte St\u00fcck Big Baby mit der Mandoline gef\u00e4llt mir gut. Er hat sich mit vielen Musikstilen besch\u00e4ftigt, spielt auch Bluegrass und Jazz und ist sehr kreativ.<\/p>\n

Joey Wright’s two, nearly three, albums of „cinematic quasi bluegrass jazz compositions“ are what he does when he’s not touring in Sarah Harmer’s band, playing in the now legendary Toronto bluegrass ensemble „Crazy Strings,“ and co-writing and playing songs with his Juno Award-winning wife Jenny Whiteley.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He sometimes plays gorgeous acoustic instrumentals or delicately sung lyrical numbers that draw on bluegrass, jazz, blues and world music to create something beautifully unique yet wonderfully familiar. Zwei St\u00fccke sind mit Mandoline, besonders gut gef\u00e4llt mir das letzte St\u00fcck des Konzertes Big Baby<\/strong> – es erinnert mich etwas an den Stil von Chris Thile. Das St\u00fcck gibt es auch in einer anderen Fassung mit zwei Mandolinen auf der myspace Seite.<\/p>\n
