Dabei sind Konzertmittschnitte der letzten 5 Jahre zu h\u00f6ren.<\/p>\n<p>Das Mandolinenorchester ist wie viele andere japanische Mandolinenorchester eine Organisation der Universit\u00e4t:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Hiroshima Jogakuin was founded in 1886 as a small Christian school for  women by Rev. T. Sunamoto, in cooperation with Rev. J. W. and W. R.  Lambuth, sent by the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, U.S.A. The  school motto, \u201cCUM DEO LABORAMUS (We work with God) \u201d was given by its  first principal Miss Nannie B. Gaines, sent also by MECS, U.S.A., who  devoted 45 years of her life to the early development of HJ.<\/p>\n<p>Besides their studies, students are able to have an active campus life  by participating in club and circle activities. Particular attention is  paid to music, where the choir, folk song, <strong>mandolin<\/strong>, rock music, string  orchestra, and koto groups provide a colorful variety of activities.  There are also sports clubs such as kyudo (Japanese archery),  volleyball, lacrosse, aikido (art of weaponless self-defense), and  dance. Sports clubs are very active and have succeeded in maintaining a  high ranking in intercollegiate games. Many students take part seriously  in volunteer work, a special characteristic of this university.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Das Orchester f\u00fchrt jedes Jahr ein Konzert auf, die Programme sind eine Mischung aus klassischer Musik und Originalkompositionen f\u00fcr Mandolinenorchester. Auch typisch europ\u00e4ische Mandolinenmusik wie Vita Mandolinistica von J. B. Kok ist zu finden. Das 24. regelm\u00e4\u00dfige Konzert ist f\u00fcr den 7. Die Informationen zu den Programmen der Konzerte sind auf der Homepage zu finden &#8211; mit der \u00dcbersetzung durch google kann man das meiste gut verstehen.
