Das Attika Plucked String Orchestra<\/strong> hat gerade Videos vom ersten Teil eines Konzertes eingestellt das am 28. Juli in Korinth, Griechenland stattgefunden hat. Das Programm bestand aus Liedern des bekannten Komponisten Manos Hadjidakis<\/strong>. Das Konzert wurde vom Attika Plucked String Orchestra, dem Chor Opus Femina<\/strong> und den Solisten Babsis Tsertos<\/strong>, Natalia Kantzia<\/strong> und Morfo Tsaireli<\/strong> aufgef\u00fchrt. Der zweite Teil des Konzertes war der Musik von Mikis Theodorakis<\/strong> gewidmet.<\/p>\n

These videos were shot on 28th July 2012 in Korinth, Greece. Main performers were ATTIKA and choir Opus femina, but we invited as guest stars Natalia Kantzia (soprano), Morfo Tsaireli and Babis Tsertos. The concert met great success.<\/div>\n

\u00dcber das Orchester:<\/p>\n

The Orchestra was founded in 1993 by Aris Dimitriadis, its Artistic Director. Since 1997 it operates under the hospices of the non-profit music association Erato.<\/p>\n

Aris Dimitriadis has been working with Mandolin Orchestras for 20+ years. As a Mandolin soloist he has collaborated with many classical music groups and orchestras both in Greece and abroad. He created Attika to fill a quality gap in the contemporary Greek Mandolin scene by building on a long tradition of excellence and professionalism, which in the past made Greek orchestras renowned internationally.<\/p>\n

Attika\u2019s main objective is to expand the appeal of Mandolin music internationally. With a well-researched repertoire, Attika is following on the steps of the great Italian and French orchestras of this genre. However it also draws on an extensive Greek tradition, particularly 19th and early 20th century popular music from the Heptanese and Athens. Attika is the only Greek orchestra interpreting music that covers the entire spectrum of the last five centuries: from the Renaissance to the Italian Canzonetta, from Baroque to Romanticism, from Classical to Modern.<\/p>\n

Aris Dimitriadis arbeitet seit mehr als 20 Jahren mit Mandolinenorchestern. Als Mandolinist hat er mit klassischen Ensembles und Orchestern in Griechenland und anderen L\u00e4ndern zusammen gearbeitet. Er hat Attika gegr\u00fcndet um eine L\u00fccke in der zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Griechischen Mandolinenszene zu f\u00fcllen, indem auf die lange Tradition von Exzellenz und Professionalismus aufgebaut wird, die in der Vergangenheit die Griechischen Orchester international bekannt gemacht hat.<\/em><\/p>\n

Attika\u2019s haups\u00e4chliches Ziel ist das Ansehen der Mandolinenmusik international zu vergr\u00f6\u00dfern. Mit einem gut ausgew\u00e4hlten Repertoir folgt Attika den Schritten der gro\u00dfen Italienischen und Franz\u00f6sischen Orchester dieses Genre. Es f\u00fchrt aber auch eine umfangreiche griechische Tradition fort, insbesondere die Musik des 19. und fr\u00fchen 20. Jahrhunderts von den Ionischen Inseln (Heptanese, Siebeninseln) und von Athen. Attika ist das einzige griechische Orchester das Musik der letzten 5 Jahrhunderte auff\u00fchrt: von der Renaissance bis zur italienischen Canzonetta, von Barock bis Romantizismus, von Klassik bis zur Moderne.
