Im vergangenen Jahr waren sie in Gro\u00dfbritannien auf Tour, und auch in der Schweiz.<\/p>\n<p>Frigg hat bereits 5 CDs ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Ihre Musik ist sehr erfolgreich in Skandinavien, ihre aktuelle CD <strong>Polka V<\/strong> wurde unter anderem zum erfolgreichsten Folk Album 2012 gek\u00fcrt und hat verschiedene andere Auszeichnungen oder Nomonierungen erhalten. Die Energie der Musik soll und muss in Bewegung umgesetzt werden. Frigg m\u00f6chte so daf\u00fcr sorgen dass die Tradition des Volkstanzes nicht verloren geht. Einige Gedanken dazu kann man im Interview h\u00f6ren das Anti und Esko J\u00e4rvel\u00e4 anl\u00e4sslich eines Auftritts in der Philharmonie in Luxemburg gegeben haben.<\/p>\n<p>Der Sound von Frigg wird haupts\u00e4chlich durch das virtuose Spiel auf drei bis vier Geigen bestimmt, die unisono oder in mehrstimmigen Arrangements spielen, dazu kommen Gitarre, Mandoline und Bass. Das Zusammenspiel ist immer ausgezeichnet, auch bei den kompliziertesten Rhythmen, das tr\u00e4gt mit dazu bei das die St\u00fccke viel Power haben. Die meisten Kompositionen stammen von Frigg, sind aber oft stilistisch an die nordische Volksmusik angelehnt.
