Mandolinenorchester aus Japan sind bekannt dafür, dass sie Bearbeitungen von Musik aus Computerspielen aufführen. Ein schönes Beispiel habe ich heute entdeckt, eine Version der Musik zu Battle at the Big Bridge / Clash on the Big Bridge aus Final Fantasy V gespielt vom Mandolinenorchester der Yamagata Higashi High School:

Diese Musik wurde bereits 1992 komponiert, damals steckten die Computerspiele noch in den Kinderschuhen, Final Fantasy V lief auf der Super Nintendo SNES. Interessant finde ich, dass diese Musik auch nach 20 Jahren noch populär ist.
