Deutschlands erfolgreichste Bluegrass Band Covered Grass hat vor kurzem ihre neue CD Toogaroo veröffentlicht. Im letzten Jahr hat Covered Grass ihre Musik bei der IBMA präsentiert. Ausserdem ist Covered Grass mit ihrem Song „Good Bye Johnboy“ bei der Veranstaltung 40 Jahre Die Waltons in Los Angeles aufgetreten. Die ganze USA-Reise wurde in einer DVD festgehalten.
Toogaroo ist die erste CD von Covered Grass die komplett eigene Songs enthält. Corinna Aurin und Volker Fisher haben die Songs zusammen geschrieben.

Covered Grass – Good Night John-Boy – The Waltons
Bluegrass tribute to the famous tv-series from the early 70s – written and performed by Covered Grass. „The Waltons“ ran weekly on German television and the goodnight ritual at the end of each episode was the inspiration to this song.
Vergangenes Wochenende sind Covered Grass beim Stadtfest in Waldkraiburg aufgetreten, davon gibt es fünf ganz aktuelle Videos – hier als Beispiel der schöne Song über den verregneten Sonntag – Rainy Sunday:
