Das Mandolinenorchester Da Capo Alba aus Schottland hat einige Videos von den letzten Konzerten mit einigen interesanten Stücken bei youtube eingestellt. Dabei sind auch zwei Stücke von Dieter Kreidler und Palladio von Karl Jenkins. Da Capo Alba ist das Orchester der LGMA, und ist zur Zeit das größte Mandolinenorchester in Schottland.
Da Capo Alba is the orchestral section of the LGMA, and is currently Scotland’s largest guitar and mandolin orchestra. It comprises around 30 members who play mandolin, mandola (octave mandolin), guitar, bass or percussion instruments.
Ein Ensemble von Da Capo Alba hat auch kürzlich beim eurofestival zupfmusik 2010 mitgewirkt. Barbara Pommerenke Steel die bei Palladio dirigiert ist die Präsidentin der EGMA, der European Mandolin- and Guitar Association.
